Goemon’s sword, the Zantetsuken, is known to be forged from an indestructible metal. However, according to a legend, there is an even harder alloy that was developed by Goemon’s grandfather. To protect the secret from unwanted eyes, the formula for it was embedded in the statue of the Golden Dragon. Instructions for wresting the formula back from the dragon have been protected by Goemon’s family ever since. This time, the story begins with Lupin being asked to restore his family’s honour by obtaining the Golden Dragon that his grandfather was unable to obtain. Unfortunately, the statue went down with the Titanic in 1912.
Who are the mysterious ninja chasing Goemon? Will Lupin find the Golden Dragon? What is the indestructible alloy all about?

Goemons Schwert, das Zantetsuken, ist bekanntlich aus einem unzerstörbaren Metall geschmiedet. Jedoch gibt es, einer Legende nach, noch eine härtere Legierung, die von Goemons Großvater entwickelt wurde. Um das Geheimnis vor ungewollten Augen zu schützen, wurde die Formel dafür in die Statue des Goldenen Drachen eingebettet. Das Rezept, wie man dem Drachen die Formel wieder entreißt, wird seitdem von Goemons Familie mit dem Leben verteidigt. Die Geschichte beginnt diesmal damit, dass Lupin aufgefordert wird, die Ehre seiner Familie wieder herzustellen, indem er den Goldenen Drachen besorgt, den sein Großvater nicht an sich bringen konnte. Leider ist die Statue im Jahr 1912 mit der Titanic untergegangen.
Wer sind die geheimnisvollen Ninja, die Goemon verfolgen? Wird Lupin den Goldenen Drachen finden? Was hat es mit der unzerstörbaren Legierung auf sich?
